2009 vancouver natural
2001 oregon Ironman natural Hit works for everyone at any age or level, the concept is hard to grasp..but the results cannot be argued with. The concept is to lift to complete failure, six excercises one set..now before you say "Ya right", Let me explain. Trainers argue the "Time under tension" and that you need more, but I have yet to meet a trainer that can answer this simple question, "If I take your muscles to complete failure on one set that takes two minutes, why do more sets?" Think about it, average person does three sets of ten..why? How did ten and three sets become the magic number? And the average set of ten at a fast pace takes fifteen to twenty seconds..so max on three sets is only sixty seconds of work time. Now..HIT style is a ten second pace forward and back..at six reps thats two minutes..and the slow pace forces you to lift lighter and more safely on the joints, also at a slow pace you use 100% of the muscle fibers not 10% muscle and 90% momentum!
We at H.I.T lift smarter, not harder.
